About Me.
Are you ready for change but not sure where to start? Do you ever feel like your emotions are overwhelming or not there at all? Feel like no one understands the amount of stress you’re under? Or how crippling your anxiety and perfectionism can be? Maybe your professional or athletic identity comes with the stereotype of being someone who "has it all together" thus leaving you feeling like seeking help would be a sign of weakness, failure, or unacceptable?
For over 15 years I’ve been working with individuals who answered "Yes" to some or all of these questions through traditional Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs. My experience spans working within collegiate institutions, psychiatric hospitals, professional athletics, and private settings.
I am a LCSW, LICSW, LCSW-C who specializes in the use of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), and Radically Open DBT (RO DBT). I have extensive experience through my training and professional work with organizations including: Yale University, McLean Hospital, The University of Pittsburgh, National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEABPD), The International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), Behavioral Tech, The Beck Institute, The Center for Deployment Psychology, The Center for Evidence Based Treatment, The Center for Treatment and Study of Anxiety, and Radically Open Ltd.
